Journalists who expose any state secrets pose a self-evident threat to national security. Prosecuting them is too obvious, but they should not working in our country.
Journalists should be obligated reveal their sources. If they want the Government to be transparent, they should be too. If they compel the government to be transparent, they should be compelled likewise.
A self-governing populace should universally understand that betrayal of their government is betrayal of their people.
People should be responsible for the effects of their speech.
The media should help curate and interpret information for the public.
Money is speech. A free country should not constrain a private corporation from speaking its truth.
